Sara serves as a Director in Covenant Chambers, specializing in civil and commercial litigation. Her experience encompasses complex shareholder disputes, fraud and asset recovery, trust disputes, and employment issues.
Sara also possesses a strong background in contentious family cases, as well as criminal and regulatory offences. Her role extends beyond litigation to encompass corporate advisory and data protection responsibilities, including serving as the firm's Data Protection Officer.
Sara also provides comprehensive counsel to clients across diverse industries, advising on various business transactions, and internal processes, and crafting bespoke contractual agreements to suit their individual needs.

Successfully obtained a novel application for a grant pendente lite for a client embroiled in estate litigation proceedings, in XBW v XBX and another [2024] SGHCF 30.
Acted as lead counsel in successfully securing a freezing order from the High Court prohibiting the disposal of assets up to approximately S$1.2 million, in a case involving allegations of conspiracy, fraudulent misrepresentation, and negligence.
Represented a minority shareholder and director in a complex case involving claims of minority oppression, breach of director’s duties, and a debt exceeding $1.8 million, in a company with a 40-year history in Swee Wan Enterprises Pte Ltd v Yak Thye Peng [2019] SGHC 149.
Represented the appellant at the Court of Appeal in a dispute involving breach of trust of over S$3.5 million in funds, and the application of the Limitation Act in cases of alleged fraudulent breach of trust in Lim Ah Leh v Heng Fock Lin [2019] SGCA 26
Acted as lead counsel for a start-up founder of a commodities intelligence platform valued at US$4 million in a shareholders’ dispute, and successfully secured a favourable buy-out.
Acted in a dispute among family members concerning breach of constructive trust, spanning properties and assets exceeding US$5 million in Lim Ah Leh v Heng Fock Lin [2019] SGCA 26
Represented the purchaser in Li Jialian & Anor v Wingcrown Investment Pte Ltd [2023] SGHC 258 to a seek a refund of a $1.2 million deposit paid for the purchase of a private property, where the Court dealt with a novel situation of whether a developer would be entitled to forfeit part of a deposit under the forfeiture clause under the Law Society Conditions of Sale 2024.
Defended a Singapore-based investment vehicle against a S$2 million claim under a convertible loan agreement in Fundamental Investors Pte Ltd v Palm Tree Investment Group Pte Ltd [2020] SGHC 73.
Acted for an events company in negotiating and concluding a sponsorship and investment deal in excess of US$10 million.
Successfully led an appeal to the High Court overturning a Family Justice Court decision on the division of matrimonial assets and maintenance obligations.
Successfully represented the family of a deceased worker in a landmark appeal at the High Court, clarifying the application of the Work Injury Compensation Act regarding pre-existing medical conditions triggering compensation eligibility in Arpah binte Sabar & Ors v Colex Environmental Pte Ltd [2019] SGHC 137.
Acted as lead counsel in successfully reducing the sentences of three co-accused persons convicted under the Remote Gambling Act from imprisonment to fines upon appeal.
Acted as lead counsel in a successful appeal to reduce the sentence of a client charged under the Prevention of Corruption Act for giving bribes to obtain contracts from Singapore Airlines.
Acted for a large chain of beauty salons with over 20 outlets in proceedings brought by the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore under the Competition Act.

Represented an event production company in a significant contractual dispute against a global media and entertainment conglomerate in relation to the production and management of a high-profile premiere event for a flagship television series, and involved the successful negotiation of liabilities and payment obligations under a multi-faceted services agreement.
