Wee Qianliang
Director
Qianliang’s passion for advocacy has culminated in his volunteering as an advocacy trainer for budding lawyers.
In his years of legal practice, Qianliang has represented clients in a wide gamut of commercial claims, appearing as lead counsel in numerous trials and contested hearings.
Qianliang’s experience in construction disputes involves acting for sub-contractors in adjudication proceedings under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment (SOP) Act as well as for owners and contractors in court and arbitration proceedings.
Besides construction disputes, Qianliang has also successfully handled cases in commercial litigation.
As much as Qianliang is passionate about advocacy, he believes that his job as a lawyer is to be a problem solver whilst delivering the best value to clients. He takes a practical approach in his legal advice and believes that the same quality of legal advice ought to be given to clients, whether the client is a corporation or an individual, albeit with appropriate adjustments.
