Commercial & Property Disputes

Acted for a company and its shareholders in defending a claim for dividends by a BVI company, pursuant to the unwinding of a hostile takeover deal worth S$36m. The claim was eventually dismissed
Acted for the administrators in a long-drawn, complex dispute concerning the administration of an estate which had S$100m worth of assets such as immovable property, stocks, and shares in listed companies and private companies in several jurisdictions, namely Hong Kong and Malaysia.
Acted for the majority directors/shareholders of a hardware company in a claim against the company and its minority directors/shareholders which resulted in a long-drawn settlement negotiation.
